Just as graduates of traditional universities are not guaranteed to find employment, so too are graduates of online universities. Employability depends on a number of factors including previous work experience, references, competition, and the economy. Even the most qualified college graduates are not guaranteed a position in their respective fields.

That being said, online universities do offer career services, where recent or soon-to-be graduates can fine tune their resumes and cover letters, as well as learn what it takes to participate in a successful interview.
